Through multiple rounds of engagement with Fresno residents, it became clear that the existing Sunset Community Center site no longer meets the community’s needs and must be demolished to make way for a new center. The new Center features multi-use spaces, a half-court basketball area, and a library component catering to all ages. Additionally, the center includes a secure tot lot for children and a splash pad and play area. This project is designed to revitalize the community by creating a welcoming, inclusive space that promotes physical activity, learning, and social interaction.
